From the team behind Proper, meet Hotel June

Hotel June is a nod to the free-thinking spirit and soul of California. Wrapped in a timeless mid-century modern building in West LA, Hotel June is imbued with inviting design, vibrant food, and thoughtful details, including a lush Baja-inspired pool deck. Just five minutes to the beach, Playa Vista, LAX and walking distance to dining, entertainment and parks — welcome to Hotel June, where it’s a Saturday afternoon all year long.

Our Rooms

Retreat in comfort with spacious rooms that offer a warm and welcoming space to relax and unwind during your visit to Los Angeles. All rooms include crisp Fili D’oro luxury linens, Aesop bath amenities, walk-in showers and large operable noise-cancelling windows, and a dedicated seating area to work or play.

Hotel June’s dining concepts are helmed by hospitality impresario Steve Livigni from award-winning Scopa, with menus inspired by a culinary road trip from Santa Barbara to Northern Baja, Mexico.

Caravan Swim Club

The flavors of Mexico meet
the vibrant bounty of California

The breezy Baja-inspired Caravan Swim Club is our poolside gathering place for everything from cabana drinks to fire pit gatherings, creative meetings to laid-back lounging. Spend the day by the pool enjoying cocktails and music or relax on the elevated terrace — and enjoy the view with house favorites like it all with our menu of local caught grilled local fish, organic steaks, seasonal salads, bright oysters from our raw bar, and shareable snacks paired with biodynamic wines, craft beer, and small-batch tequilas.

Meet: Co-Founder of Crowns & Hops, Beny Ashburn and Teo Hunter

To kick off this season’s Supper Series at Hotel June, earlier this month we partnered with Crowns & Hops Brewing Company, a Black-owned craft beer brand based in Inglewood, California for an intimate poolside dinner at Caravan Swim Club. Over the brand’s newest craft beers, Co-Founder Beny Ashburn shared more about his passion for their process, while Chef Angie Lee prepared a prix-fixe menu of Baja-inspired eats.

Meet Chef Angie Lee

Introducing Angie Lee — our Chef de Cuisine at Hotel June! With a career that began at Le Cordon Bleu Pasadena and led her to an externship at the three-star Michelin Restaurant Martin Berasategui in Lasarte, Spain. Lee previously served as Chef de Cuisine at Santa Monica Proper, and held culinary positions at esteemed hotels like the Peninsula Beverly Hills, and the Beverly Wilshire, Four Seasons Hotel. We’re thrilled to have her expertise as part of the Caravan Swim Club family, and were excited to catch up with her for a quick-fire questionnaire on all things front of mind.
